Who Is Zen?
Two sisters shared a passion for baking and creating happiness. They would often meditate on how best to share this passion with others. Surely there was a way to spread the joy they felt in the creation of unique cakes, pastries, candies and cookies. In a flash of enlightenment, the sisters decided to combine all of their wondrous creations into a single, magical treat– the cake ball. One taste was all it took to create an instant of blissful perfection – thus Zen Cake Balls were born! Although the idea for this dessert is not a new one, ZBC Foods has taken the cake ball to a higher plane with complex flavors and textures that promise to transport you to your new “happy place.”
The depth of our our love for food started with the introduction of our gourmet cakeballs. We are very excited to share the heart of Zen – our Filipino Inspired Asian Tapas and Desserts. Zen Bistro & Dessert Bar is now open in the heart of eclectic Deep Ellum in Downtown Dallas. Our savory and sweet items are unique and is a fresh addition to the foodie rich environment of the Dallas restaurant landscape. From our family to yours – Mabuhay, Mahal, Kumain (Live, Love, Eat).
